Argentina Boosts Intralot Revenue Growth in Q1: A Closer Look

In Q1 2025, Intralot, a leading gaming technology group, saw a 10.9% revenue increase, driven by growth in Argentina and expansion in various segments.

Intralot, a leading gaming technology group based in Athens, experienced robust revenue growth of 10.9% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching €94.4 million. Despite this positive revenue growth, the company reported flat EBITDA, with only a 0.3% increase. The growth in revenue was primarily driven by improved trading conditions in Argentina and expansion in its Game Management and Licensed Operations segments.

Lottery games remained the top revenue generator for Intralot, accounting for 55.2% of total revenue in Q1, followed by sports betting, video lottery terminals, and IT products and services. The company’s B2B segment continued to dominate, representing 88.9% of the total revenue.

Intralot’s Technology segment, supported by strong performance in Argentina, saw revenue growth, while its B2C Licensed Operations in Argentina experienced significant year-on-year growth of 64.8%. The company highlighted the positive impact of improving macroeconomic conditions in Argentina on its market growth.

Despite a slight increase in operating expenses, Intralot reported stable profitability and continued debt reduction, with an improved operating cash flow. The company’s Chairman, Sokratis P Kokkalis, emphasized the recent contract renewals in New Zealand and New Hampshire, showcasing the company’s commitment to long-term partnerships and growth.

Intralot also addressed recent speculation about a possible acquisition in Australia, clarifying that no such talks have taken place. The company affirmed its focus on driving growth and maintaining financial stability in its core markets.
