In a recent turn of events, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has made headlines by cancelling the licence of operator Oddsfly due to breaches of licence conditions, including unpaid fees amounting to over €100,000. This decision comes after the operator had already been suspended in 2018. Additionally, Dimascon has also faced suspension in Malta for compliance breaches, marking the second time within a year.

Moving across Europe, Kansspelautoriteit Chairman Michel Groothuizen has been appointed to the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) board, aiming to collaborate with other regulators to establish shared standards for gambling supervision, particularly emphasizing the protection of minors.

BetMGM has taken a significant step by becoming the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, marking their first major partnership with a women’s professional sports franchise. This agreement includes prominent brand visibility at the Aces’ home arena, social media sponsorship, and exclusive game-day experiences for BetMGM.

On the technology front, NuxGame has introduced new API solutions, including Casino API with over 14,500 games from 120 providers and Sports Betting API offering a wide range of events and betting markets, aiming to provide operators with comprehensive tools for success.

Lastly, LiveScore Group has initiated a four-day working week trial for its London-based staff, with a focus on innovation and creating a more efficient working environment. This trial is set to run for 12 months with a review planned for October to assess its impact on the company’s operations.
